Sunday 26th July 2026 Powys Health Charity celebrates its 30th birthday, with special events and celebrations.
This year Powys Health Charity reaches a truly special milestone 30 years of supporting and making a difference for people across Powys. This anniversary is a moment to pause, reflect and celebrate everything that has been made possible through kindness, generosity and community spirit.
For three decades, our charity has stood alongside local health services, helping to improve the patient experience enhance the wellbeing of our amazing NHS staff and support those community groups helping to care for the people of Powys.
From small comforts that ease a difficult hospital stay, to vital equipment and projects that improve health and wellbeing, every donation has played a part in improving lives. Behind each funded project is a story, a patient feeling more at ease, a family supported through a challenging time, or a member of staff able to provide the very best care.
Celebrating the 30th birthday is important as a charity belongs to everyone who has been part of this journey. It honours the fundraisers who pushed themselves, the donors who gave what they could, the volunteers who gave their time, and the communities who believed in what we do. Together, you’ve helped Powys Health Charity go above and beyond what NHS funding alone can provide, creating moments of compassion and care when they matter most.
