Celebrate 30 Years of Powys Health Charity with a Leap to Remember

In 2026, Powys Health Charity marks its 30th anniversary, a milestone that reflects three decades of supporting patients, staff, and services across Powys. To celebrate, we’re inviting supporters to take part in a bold and unforgettable challenge: a Charity Skydive at Swansea Airport.

Every jumper will be raising vital funds to help us continue improving health and wellbeing in our communities. Whether you’re jumping yourself, sponsoring someone brave enough to take the leap, or simply cheering from the sidelines, your support makes a difference.

Why a Skydive?

We wanted to mark our 30th year with something truly memorable. A skydive is a powerful symbol of courage, commitment, and community, values that have defined Powys Health Charity since day one. It’s also a chance for participants to tick off a bucket-list experience while raising money for a cause that touches lives every day.

How to Take Part

Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. To register:

  1. Email PTHB.Charity@wales.nhs.uk to express your interest
  2. Complete the registration form (sent to you after emailing)
  3. Pay your £25 deposit

Once all three steps are complete, your place is confirmed, and you can begin your fundraising journey.

Want to Support Without Jumping?

There are plenty of ways to get involved:

  • Sponsor a Jumper: Support someone you know or choose to sponsor a participant via our public fundraising page (link below)
  • Make a Donation: Every contribution helps us continue our work. Visit our JustGiving to give directly.
  • Spread the Word: Share the event with friends, family, and colleagues to help us reach more people.

Any funds raised over and above the fundraising target will be allocated to the unrestricted Powys wide General Fund.
