To mark the 30th Birthday of Powys Health Charity the Team delivered more than 80 tea hampers to over 1,170 members of staff across Powys Teaching Health Board as a heartfelt thank you for their continued hard work, dedication and commitment to supporting patients, families and communities across the county.

The hampers were designed as a small token of appreciation, recognising the incredible contribution staff make every day. As the celebrations have continued it has been wonderful to see colleagues coming together to enjoy the treats, reflect on the Charity’s milestone anniversary and celebrate the teamwork that underpins healthcare services across Powys.

Over recent weeks staff from across a wide range of teams have shared photographs of their celebrations. Helping us showcase the people who make such a difference to patients and communities every day.

The response from staff has been fantastic. With teams across Powys embracing the opportunity to celebrate this special milestone together. The photographs received have highlighted not only the enjoyment of the hampers themselves but also the strong sense of community, camaraderie and shared purpose that exists throughout the organisation.

The Importance of Our Sponsors

These celebrations would not have been possible without the generous support of several local businesses who worked with Powys Health Charity to help recognise and thank staff across the county.

A special thank you goes to Welsh Brew Tea, Cradoc’s Savoury Biscuits and Tan Y Castell Bakery. Whose generous contributions formed the centrepiece of each hamper. Their support enabled the Charity Team to provide quality locally sourced treats to staff while also highlighting the importance of community partnerships in supporting healthcare services across Powys.

As businesses with strong Welsh roots, their involvement perfectly reflected the spirit of the celebrations, bringing together local organisations and staff to mark 30 years of Powys Health Charity. Through their generosity more than 1,170 members of staff were able to enjoy a well-deserved treat.

Powys Health Charity would like to extend its sincere thanks to all three sponsors for helping make this initiative such a success.

Lastly thank you to all teams who has shared photographs with us. We have loved seeing teams celebrate together and helping us mark this important milestone. Powys Health Charity looks forward to continuing its support for patients, staff and services across Powys for many years to come.
