Powys Health Charity Partners with NHS Charities Together to Provide Free Starbucks Drinks
In a heartwarming gesture of appreciation, the charity has partnered with NHS Charities Together and Starbucks, to offer free Starbucks drinks to NHS staff on 5th December 2024. The initiative was aimed at recognizing the tireless dedication and hard work of healthcare professionals across the region.
On the 5 December 2024, NHS staff at Bronllys hospital were able to enjoy a free drink given out by the Charity team, while at participating Starbucks locations NHS staff could show their ID for their free coffee. The aim of this was to provide a small but meaningful moment of respite and refreshment during their busy shifts. The collaboration between the charity and NHS Charities Together highlights the ongoing commitment to supporting the wellbeing of NHS workers.
“We are thrilled to be able to offer this gesture to the incredible NHS staff who continue to give so much to our communities,” said the Shania Jones, Charity Administrative Support. “It’s just a small way to say thank you for everything they do.’
This initiative is a pilot scheme aimed at reaching healthcare workers in rural areas that may not have Starbucks locations nearby, offering them a small but appreciated moment of recognition for their dedication.
