Powys Health Charity Turns 30!
Powys Health Charity is marking an incredible milestone in 2026, 30 years of supporting health and wellbeing across Powys.
For three decades, the charity has helped enhance local healthcare, funding projects and equipment that make a real difference to patients, families and NHS staff. None of this would have been possible without the generosity and passion of the people of Powys.
To celebrate the milestone, supporters will be taking to the skies for a special anniversary charity skydive, the boldest celebration event yet. And it’s just the start. A full programme of fundraising events will follow throughout the year, offering plenty of ways to get involved.
As the celebrations begin, the charity is saying a huge thank you to everyone who has been part of its journey so far and inviting the whole community to join the next chapter.
Over the past 10 weeks, our Powys Health Charity Team has had the pleasure of visiting every site across Powys as part of our 30th birthday celebrations.
A new sensory room has been opened at Ynys Y Plant, Children's centre in Newtown in memory of Sioned Harris who passed away last year.
We are delighted to say a huge congratulations to Cheryl, who completed the London Marathon in an incredible display of determination, commitment, and generosity.
