Powys Health Charity publishes a quarterly newsletter, sign up to hear first about our good news stories, new projects, our campaigns and other opportunities of how you can support us.

Our annual Festive Fundraiser aims to spread holiday cheer to all patients, residents, and mums-to-be across Powys Teaching Health Board hospitals and care homes during the Christmas season. This heartwarming initiative ensures that everyone receives a Christmas gift. Many of these individuals may be spending the holidays on their own, separated from their families due to illness or care needs, and could otherwise feel isolated during this special time. From the generosity of donors to the support of volunteers, the campaign has a lasting impact on those who might otherwise miss out on the joy of the holidays.
Join us in this wonderful annual tradition whether by donating, volunteering, or simply sharing in the festive fun. There are many ways to get involved and make a difference. If you’re interested in helping us, make next Christmas just as special, reach out to our team for more information on how you can contribute. Together, we can bring smiles and brighten the season for those who need it most.

Powys Health Charity has secured a coveted London Marathon place for 2026! This is a fantastic opportunity for those who want to take on one of the world’s most iconic races while supporting a great cause. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or a first-time marathoner, we’d love for you to be a part of this exciting journey.
If you’re interested in participating, fundraising, or learning more, please contact our team to find out how you can get involved. Let’s make 2026 a year to remember!

Our campaign is all about having fun and measuring how far we can go. We’re encouraging everyone to get involved in activities they enjoy and track their progress. Whether you’re running, cycling, swimming, hill walking (after all, we’re in Powys!), or even something a little more creative like:
The goal is to support wellbeing by encouraging people to do something they enjoy or take on a fun challenge. You’ll have the whole month of May to accumulate your distance, and if you’d like to fundraise along the way, even better!
You can choose your personal goal that feels right for you or just clock up the Miles and let us know how far you’ve travelled. We hope this brings people together for a fun, meaningful challenge. Let’s get moving and see how far we can go—together!
